16/05 to 26/05: 65ème Festival de Cannes

I haven’t seen Fantasy, I’ve started watching at the beginning of Shake It Off so I cannot speak for this one (nor Dreamlover/Honey and half of WBT for my stream stopped during those songs), but she was counting on a backing track during CTTA that unfortunately failed (which didn’t prevent her performance from being pretty good, I enjoyed it a lot and I don’t even like that song), and she definitely had some “help” for some parts of Without You, which at first made me mad but then she did all of the ending live and I forgave her :)
But yes, she did sing live and I didn’t say the contrary.

This was a great concert, she did well despite all the inconveniences. I’m a bit mad at her for lipping when her voice was in fact good enough all along, she clearly has some issues with this. I wish she would choose her setlist according to the country; when outside the US she should think of dropping SIO and It’s like that - though the songs are great on CDs, they’re definitely not good live and are kind of obscure tracks here - and replace them with Get Your Number or Migrate. That would have much more success.. and I love how the audience was desperately waiting for Without You. I wish she would do more concerts like this, this is so exciting watching it live ^__^

Eurovision, I ditched Koh Lanta for you tonight; though I don’t regret it you were still pretty average this year, and still as disappointing as ever when it comes to the votes..
Congratulations to Sweden but most of all, congratulations to Serbia, I’m glad they got so far, they were my favorite. And France shouldn’t be ashamed of its position, this was the best performance in years, love the song ^__^
